Occupational Health – Health Assessments

Through our Pre-placement Health Assessments, we help organizations ensure individuals can meet job demands without risk to health or safety. Assessments also establish baseline health information for future evaluation.

Our Periodic Health Assessments support organizations with employees who are exposed to occupational hazards (e.g. gases and chemicals). Results are compared to baseline pre-placement testing to identify early changes.

Our Fitness-to-Work Assessments for physically ill or injured employees ensure all job activities can be engaged, identify work restrictions, and provide work reentry suggestions. Complementing this is Homewood Human Solutions’ Fitness-to-Work program focused on psychological health.

Following any of our assessments, grouped data is provided to identify trends and where program review may be required.

Occupational Health - Medical Surveillance

Our Audiometric Program includes regular audiometric testing and education to noise exposed employees. Our Respiratory Program provides ongoing assessment for employees exposed to respiratory hazards (e.g. asbestos or silica) or those who are required to use respirators.

Our Drug and Alcohol Testing Program supports organizations with employees in safety or non-safety sensitive positions as part of pre-placement, pre access, reasonable cause, post incident, or as a condition of rehabilitation.

Occupational Health – Illness/Injury Management

Aimed at minimizing time loss and associated human and financial costs, our Condition Management program identifies and addresses problems that may be affecting health and job performance.

Supporting our Condition Management program are our Ergonomic Assessments which are followed-up with formal written reports.

Our Onsite Influenza Vaccination Clinics with Registered Nurses help to reduce sick days, overtime costs, and service interruptions.
